FIVE CRITERIA THAT CAN REDUCE THE RISKS OF ENTERING THE WORLD OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS
1. Does this person recognize that challenges in life can be emotionally or psychologically based?
2. Does this person give an honest and truthful account of their emotional or psychological difficulties?
3. Does this person demonstrate evidence of active participation in the relationship?
4. Does this person exhibit the ability to be self-inquisitive – implying a willingness to raise questions about oneself even if unpleasant?
5. Does this person possess a history of actually making tangible sacrifices, self-sacrificing to the extent of postponing one’s own pleasures?
Prospective individuals that meet all five of these criteria are considered to be an “excellent” choice; four out of the five, “good”; three out of five, “fair.” And individuals who score below three should be considered referral leads for your worst enemies.
